The Rutgers School of Dental Medicine offers emergency and urgent care for:
· Current RSDM patients, and
· New patients who are not currently receiving care at RSDM.
For Current Patients
If you are currently being treated at RSDM, please contact your assigned student or resident provider directly for any dental emergencies.
For New or Walk-In Patients
Emergency walk-in patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis during the following clinic hours:
· Morning session: 10:00 AM
· Afternoon session: 2:00 PM
To register, patients must arrive at 9:00 AM or 1:00 PM. We recommend arriving early, as the clinic often fills to capacity due to high demand.
Fees and Payment
· The emergency clinic fee is $110.00, which includes a diagnostic exam and medical review.
· This fee is collected prior to being seen.
· Additional procedures (such as X-rays, extractions, or root canals) will incur additional charges, which are due at the time of service.
Important Information
· A valid photo ID is required for all patients.
· If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
